Shipping Information

For small quantities, air courier (FedEx, UPS, or DHL) may be most cost effective. If you have an international shipping account at any of these carriers, the costs can be billed directly to your account at your contract rates. You will need to provide a letter on your letterhead authorizing BaliSpirit to use your account number.

For larger orders, you will probably choose air freight as this is the quickest and most effective way for you to receive your order.

For air shipments, local handling is through a number of experienced air cargo companies and network of clearing agents / brokers. Or you may choose an agent close to your home location to handle the clearing and documentation needed for import shipments. You will need to provide the name, address, phone, fax, and contact name for your local broker at the time you place your order.

Sea cargo would be LCL or less than container load. This is cost effective but does have some risks for handling at various ports. We do recommend insurance for LCL shipments. The charge for this is 2% of the value of the goods, and we can arrange this for you through QBE Insurance.

In most cases, minimal local handling charges will be added to the cost of your order.

Don’t forget you may need to pay a small tax on medium or large (wholesale) orders on arrival in your country. Your Shipping company can advise you on this. It is your responsibility to pay these charges.

Production times
Please allow approximately 6 weeks for up to 500 units and approximately 6-8 weeks for over 500 units. In most cases, production may be completed sooner. However, these estimates allow for various production volumes at our factory as well as replacement of rejected items. Smaller orders will be consolidated with other orders on a monthly basis and this may also add to production time.

Quality control
BaliSpirit’s owners, managers, and staff have many years of experience sourcing and manufacturing a wide variety of products in Bali and always endeavor to use the best quality fabrics available to us. Our internal processes are specifically set up to take care of your order. All garments are checked before packing. As best as we can be, we will be your staff in Bali for your order and will contact you directly in the case of query or questions regarding your order.

Guarantees and returns
We endeavor, in all cases, to provide you with the best product and the best service. Should a question of quality in production arise, we will work towards a solution for you. However, BaliSpirit offers no guarantees and does not accept returns.

Should you find something less than perfect about your order, please communicate to shop@balispirit.com within 5 days of receiving your order.

Designs
Our designer has 15 years experience in the clothing industry. Our connection with BaliSpirit Yoga Studio and a constant influx of international yoga teachers and students helps keep our new products fresh and practical.

In the near future, we hope to offer the option of manufacturing custom designs.

Sample policy
At this time, BaliSpirit does not ship free samples of products. In some cases, fabric samples may be sent to buyers at no additional charge although shipping charges will apply. You can purchase any item needed for samples. We can ship to you when the shipping costs are prepaid.

Customized retail tags and materials and custom packaging
BaliSpirit can assist you with printing your hangtags, stickers, shopping bags, and promotional materials. Should you wish to have your retail tags attached to garments for your order, you can specify this. Any custom packing requirements also can be accommodated. All of these additional services are at additional costs. Your costs will be calculated after we receive your specifications.

The minimum order for labels, business cards, brochures, bags, and similar store supplies is 1000 units per item. Please allow up to four weeks for design, confirmation with you, and production time.

Buying trips to Bali
BaliSpirit would be happy to see you at the BaliSpirit offices, shops, and yoga studio in Bali. Consider adding to your buying trip one of the upcoming retreats at www.balispirit.com. However, we aim to make the ordering process as easy as possible for you to eliminate the need for you to come here just for buying. This is our commitment to helping you keep your costs down and profits high!

What are the buyer’s responsibilities?
Your participation from your home country is integral to the success of your order.

You will need to:

  • Review and plan all your responsibilities;
  • Prepare your funds in advance;
  • Wire or arrange payments on time and in advance;
  • Make deposits as soon as you confirm the items to be ordered;
  • Make final payments before the production is completed;
  • Make payments for shipping at time the costs are determined as orders are not shipped until shipping costs have been paid in full
  • Give appropriate information to BaliSpirit as needed or requested;
  • Obtain broker/receiving agent in your country to handle customs and local delivery. (Fed Ex shipments do not required broker/receiving agent assistance.) Or let BaliSpirit know that you agree to use the one chosen by the Bali shipping company staff;
  • Provide your broker’s complete information to BaliSpirit;
  • Be prepared to pay broker/receiving agent fees, import taxes, and all local handling costs when your shipment arrives in your country.
